Best Girl Night EVER.

Isn't Friday the 13th supposed to be some freaky superstitious holiday? Well, in February, my Friday the 13th wasn't freaky at all.

IT WAS AWESOME.

I got to have a "girl night" with my pal Erin! Good friends since high school, we both have birthdays in February - mine toward the beginning, hers toward the end. So, we planned a girl night where we could celebrate our birthdays together, starting with Leatherby's, an ice cream place in Taylsorsville that was a high school favorite - they have the BEST ice cream in the valley, I swear.
We had tickets to see a dollar movie after our yummy dinner of ice cream and fries, but we had time to kill beforehand... so we went SHOE SHOPPING!! My favorite thing EVER! We just went to Payless and tried on anything and everything we could find, whether we liked it or not.

Then, we saw the sappiest chick-flick ever - Twilight.

This movie probably should have been a box-office flop, and yet - this was my fourth time seeing it. It is not the best movie I've ever seen, and it's enough to make me gag. ME! The QUEEN of sappy movies and music! But for some reason... I just LOVE it. Probably just because it's Twilight, and Edward Cullen fills every romantic expectation for women young and old.

When can we do it again, Erin??? :)

1. WHAT!?! There is ANOTHER Leatherbys and we didn't know about it! They closed the one in Provo and we cried. We are going this weekend. I am SO EXCITED!

2. I love trying on payless shoes.

And

3. I think that sounds like the best girls night ever! Although, I gotta be honest Mel. I'm hoping the next movie in the series is way better :)
